Counseling Preferences Questionnaire

Everyone needs something a little different from counseling. Some people like structure, goals, tools, and direct feedback. Others prefer a more open space to talk, reflect, and explore things at their own pace. Many people want a mix of both.

This questionnaire helps your counselor understand what may feel helpful for you. It can also make the first few sessions feel clearer and more collaborative.

You do not need to overthink your answers. Choose what feels most true for you right now. Your answers do not lock you into one type of counseling and can change as counseling develops. There are no right or wrong answers.
